Starting in 2011, CAST has sponsored a Student Presentation award where the five student Travel Grant winners are nominated for the presentation award; each student presentation is judged by at least three CAST executive committee members.
The CAST Executive Committee is pleased to announce that this year’s Presentation Award winner is Cara Touretzky of the University of Texas. Cara presented Paper 687b, Modeling and Model Predictive Control Strategies for Building Energy Management in Session 10B06, Control and Estimation of Large Scale Systems. The paper was coauthored by her advisor Michael Baldea.
Please join the CAST EC in congratulating Cara on her outstanding research and presentation in Pittsburgh. Further details will be published in the upcoming CAST division newsletter.
