Aims and Scope

With the aim to enhance communication among researchers & practitioners from Asian regions working in Process Systems Engineering, the 1st PSE Asia (Kyoto 2000) was proven to be a successful conference. PSE Asia Symposiums held in Taipei (2002), Seoul (2005), Xi’an (2007), Singapore (2010), Kuala Lumpur (2013), Tokyo (2016), & Bangkok (Jan 2019 or 2018+), continued the tradition to serve as a forum for bringing
those researchers & practitioners from all Asian regions working in the PSE areas together.

Starting from 2016, the PSE Asia Symposiums will be a biennial event. The 9th PSE Asia will be held on 4th to 6th of November 2020 in Taipei.
The PSE Asia Symposiums provides an interactive platform for researchers to exchange knowledge in the state of the art of PSE from the perspectives of theory, modeling, technologies, and emerging materials. Main topics for this symposium include (but not limited to):
 Process and product design
 Process dynamics and control
 Process integration and management
 Process intensification
 Process monitoring and safety
 Process/molecular modeling and simulation
 Energy and environmental systems
 Artificial intelligence and big data in Chem Eng
 Industrial applications
