The Fourth International Symposium on Advanced Control of Industrial Processes (ADCONIP 2011)

Hangzhou, Zhejiang, P.R. China, May 23-27, 2011

The 4th International Symposium on Advanced Control of Industrial Processes (Adconip) will be held on May 23-27, 2011 in Hangzhou, P.R. China. Adconip is organized every three years. The first three meetings of Adconip were held in Japan, Korea, and Canada. This symposium has the objective of gathering researchers and practitioners from academia and industry to discuss the state of the art in advanced control and their applications in industry.

The emphasis in this symposium will be on the theory and implementation issues and experiences related to the application of advanced control methods in industry. The main topics for the meeting include, but are not limited to, the following:

Adaptive and Learning Systems Sensing and Sensor Fusion
Process Control and Automation
Signal Processing
Identification and Estimation
Intelligent Control
Health informatics and control applications in the health care industry
Single and multi-rate techniques
Controller performance evaluation
Robotic Systems
Factory Automation
Network-based Control
Fault Detection, Diagnosis and Asset maintenance
Process optimization
Supply chain logistics
Integration of process design and plant-wide control
Manufacturing Execution System
Realtime database
Data reconciliation
Data mining
Computer integrated Manufacturing System
Alarm management and safe process operating systems

The International Program Committee invites you to send papers that are no more than 6 pages long and in English through www.adconip2011.org. Industrial authors are encouraged to send extended abstracts or summaries of your work that are at least 2 pages and describe the main contributions of the work. The paper format and submission instruction will be announced in www.adconip2011.org.

Proposals for special sessions are especially welcome. They should contain the title of the session, a list of at least 5 speakers and titles of their papers, together with papers completed according to the above instructions. Please send requests and questions to [log in to unmask] Quality papers will be invited to submit for special issues in international journals after the conference.
