Dear FIPSE friends, Happy New Year, Some of you have inquired when we will open the FIPSE-5 registration, while a few have wondered if the meeting will take place this year. We all hope that it will take place in Crete next June. Experts in the World Health Organization have said that we will likely move from the pandemic to an endemic stage. We certainly hope so. However, there are many uncertainties. The FIPSE trustees will assess the situation in early February, and I will update you then. I am optimistic that we will not have to postpone FIPSE-5 for the third time.
