Dear Colleagues,

The international conference on the Foundations of Computer-Aided
Process Design (FOCAPD) is the premiere international conference that
exclusively focuses on the fundamentals and applications of
computer-aided design for the process industries. Held every five
years, FOCAPD 2009 with a key theme" Design for Energy and the
Environment" will be the seventh in this series and will be held at
the Beaver Run Resort in Breckenridge, Colorado from June 7 - 12,
2009.

Please find attached the call for abstracts. Upon request from the
community, the abstracts are solicited to aid in the selection of
invited and poster presentations. Accepted abstracts will be invited
for the submission of papers that will be subjected to peer review.
Accepted papers will be included in a book to be published by Taylor
and Francis in June, 2009 and in the conference proceedings CD-ROM to
be distributed to the chemical engineering departments supporting the
CACHE Corp.
The deadline for the abstracts is September 25, 2008.
