Genzyme is seeking a Process Engineer who will work with a small team of
process engineers to generate process models to drive process
improvements, guide process development efforts, and assess the
feasibility of proposed capital projects. Using a combination of
spreadsheets, object-oriented programming languages (e.g. VB, C#), and
simulation packages (e.g. Extend, Arena), you will develop process
models to quantify process cycle times, production capacity, and
determine production bottlenecks. The job will also entail assisting our
Engineering Services group in developing capital budget estimates for
manufacturing, as well as interacting with other groups including
Manufacturing, Technology Development, and Engineering.
 
Requirements: 
BS degree in Engineering or Computer Science and 2+ years of process
engineering expertise in a GMP manufacturing, validation, or facilities
engineering role.
