Open Faculty Position in Energy Science
The Department of Chemical Engineering at Lehigh University seeks
nominations and applications
for a faculty position in the broad field of Energy Sciences.
This includes, but is not restricted to the general areas of Energy
Systems, Chemical Processing,
Optimization, Reaction Engineering, Separation Science, Biocatalysis,
Biofuels and Environmental.
The successful candidate will be expected to develop a strong research
program and to engage in
enthusiastic teaching of undergraduate and graduate students in chemical
engineering. The campus has
a strong tradition of interdisciplinary work and joint appointments with
other departments are possible.
Rank of the position will be commensurate with experience and, for
exceptionally well established candidates,
an endowed chair position will be considered. Candidates should send

Open Faculty Position in Interfacial Science and Engineering
The Department of Chemical Engineering at Lehigh University seeks
applications for a faculty position of
Assistant Professor with a preferred starting date of August 2008.
We are looking for candidates with research interests in Interfacial
Science and Engineering, particularly
in one or more areas related to complex fluids, soft matter, interfacial
phenomena, molecular theory and
simulations, and micro/nano scale systems. The campus has strong
interdisciplinary and interdepartmental
groups in biotechnology, materials, polymers, interfaces, and
nanotechnology with which the candidate
can interact. The successful candidate will be expected to develop a
nationally recognized research program
and to engage in enthusiastic teaching of undergraduate and graduate
students in chemical engineering.
