The Call for Abstracts for the 2022 AIChE Annual Meeting is open.

Please consider submitting your work for presentation in one of the many CAST sponsored sessions and encourage your students and research associates to do so.
The submission deadline is April 11, 2022.

Please remember that the abstract serves two purposes:
1. the review process. Each paper is typically reviewed by three reviewers, including the session chairs. They recommend papers to the area chairs based on quality of the abstract and suitability to the session. The programming coordinators also use it to nominate plenary talks.
2. solicit interest for your talk if accepted.
We do not have fixed requirements for the abstract. In particular, you do not need to make use of the full allowed length by confex.
We do however expect to know the contents of your planned talk, including methods and results. We also do recommend that you include references to relevant state of the art. If a figure helps the reader to know what to expect from your talk, please do include it.

For those planing to nominate students for the directors award, please note that we are moving the nomination deadline shortly after the paper submission deadline. The responsible directors will soon solicit nominations and include all details.
