Two postdoctoral research associate positions are available in the Crystallization and Particle Systems Engineering Group in the Davidson School of Chemical Engineering at Purdue University. A strong background in three or more of the following areas is required: population balance modeling, parameter estimation, model-based experimental design, general process modeling and optimization, advanced control, use of PAT tools and experimental investigation of batch and continuous crystallization processes, strong programing skills in Matlab (including GUI design), Labview, C, Python.

The postdoctoral fellow will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic group, co-supervise PhD, master and undergraduate research students, and interact with government agencies (FDA, DARPA, NSF, etc.) as well as with pharmaceutical and other industrial partners.
