Postdoctoral Position at the MIT Energy Initiative

 

The Massachusetts Institute of Technology Energy Initiative (MITEI) is
seeking a postdoctoral candidate to join a research program focused on
conversion technologies for biomass and coal. This
process-simulation-intensive research position will be responsible for model
development, software interfacing and complex process configuration and
analysis. The scope of the process technologies under investigation include
biomass pretreatment, gasification, carbon capture, power generation and
fuels production.  

 

Candidates must have a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering and at least two years
of experience using Aspen Plus.  Applicants should clearly state relevant
experience, including their level of proficiency with flowsheet simulation
and cost estimation software.
