Postdoctoral position: Development of Algorithms for Insulin Infusion Set Failure Detection
A postdoctoral research associate is needed to develop algorithms to detect
insulin infusion set failures in individuals with type 1 diabetes. This
project, funded by the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation as part
of the Artificial Pancreas Project, will involve close interactions with
clinicians to improve algorithms based on results from clinical trials.
The candidate should have a Ph.D. in chemical engineering, biomedical
engineering, or a closely related field, with a strong background in systems
and control and a desire to learn basic physiology relevant to diabetes.
