Postdoctor in Modeling and Control for Advanced Bioproduction

The Division of Decision and Control Systems at KTH is looking for a
postdoc candidate to join our group on modeling and control of
biological systems. The open postdoc position is associated with the EU
project iConsensus <https://www.iconsensus.eu>, focusing on developing
an integrated control and sensing platform for production of
biopharmaceuticals, vaccines and advanced therapies. The project
involves leading European universities and pharmaceutical companies and
is led by KTH. The position will also be associated with the Centre for
Advanced Bioproduction AdBioPro,
<https://www.kth.se/adbiopro/advanced-bioproduction-by-continuous-processing-1.776678>led
by KTH and in collaboration with Lund University and Karolinska
University Hospital as well as seven Swedish companies in the
Biopharmaceutical/Biotech industry.

The postdoc project concerns model based optimization and control of
culture media and processes. It involves developing methodologies for
metabolic network modeling, and use of the models for optimization and
control of cell metabolism. The succesful candidate will work in close
collaboration with the School of Biotechnology at KTH, world leading in
advanced bioproduction and hosting extensive laboratory facilities, and
our industrial partners, with the ultimate objective to verify
methodologies in an industrial setting.

We are looking for candidates with a strong background in at least one
of the areas reaction network modeling and model based control,
preferrably with experience from applications related to bioproduction.

The position is initially for one year, but can be extended for one more
year.

For full details see advertisment
