In collaboration with the CAPE-OPEN Laboratories Network (CO-LaN), ProSim SA organizes a Short Course on CAPE-OPEN at AIChE'06 (Nov 12, 2006).

The objective of this course is to introduce the main concepts of the CAPE-OPEN standards and to provide software developers with insight into how to implement the standards. The course addresses in particular the specifications common to all CAPE-OPEN defined software objects, as well as the specifications required to access thermodynamic and unit operation calculations.

If you are involved in software development, in teaching or in research in the simulation field, this course will help you understand the fundamental aspect of CAPE-OPEN technologies.
