*** CHEMICAL PROCESS CONTROL (IFAC TECHNICAL AREA 6.1) ***

The IFAC Technical Committee 6.1 on Chemical Process Control is sponsoring the organization of the process control sessions to be held as part of the 17th IFAC World Congress. We are pleased to solicit contributions in all areas of chemical process control. These include (but are not limited to) process modeling and identification, linear and nonlinear model based control, control of distributed processes, monitoring and performance assessment, process control applications, integration of process design and control, and plant-wide optimization and control.
 
*** The deadline for electronic submission is SEPTEMBER 8, 2007. ***

The submitted material must be original and unpublished. Authors must submit full papers (not extended abstracts). Details on the electronic submission process as well as up-to-date information on the Congress may be found at the WWW Home Page of the Congress: http://www.ifac2008.org/

Notification of acceptance of submitted papers is expected by 
December 15, 2007.  The deadline for final camera-ready electronic papers is March 1, 2008.
