Tenure-track Positions at the University of Pittsburgh

The Department of Chemical and Petroleum Engineering of the Swanson School
of Engineering is seeking one or more outstanding individuals for
tenure-track positions at the Assistant Professor level.  Candidates must
have a Ph.D., or equivalent degree, in Chemical Engineering or a closely
related field. It is expected that the successful candidate will
continuously contribute to the diversity and excellence of the academic
institution through education and research. Faculty are expected to teach a
variety of undergraduate and graduate engineering courses relevant to their
expertise, develop a strong, externally-funded and
internationally-recognized research program, and be involved in service to
the University and the profession.

The Department is seeking expertise that will immediately contribute to
building interdisciplinary research programs that can integrate with
existing strengths in healthcare, sustainability, and energy technology.
Outstanding candidates in all research areas will be considered; individuals
with expertise in systems engineering are particularly encouraged to apply.

statements describing teaching and research interests and plans, copies of
three representative publications, and the names and contact information for
