There is one postdoctoral opening at Texas A&M University in the general 
area of process systems engineering, data assimilation and machine 
learning. The position is funded by the U.S. Department of Energy and 
industry partners (www.pe.tamu.edu/mceri ). 



As a part of the project, the successful candidate will develop (a) rapid 
and cost-effective methodology for data assimilation and uncertainty 
assessment, and (b) validate the developed methodology using data 
collected from ongoing field projects involving CO2 utilization for 
enhanced oil recovery and frequent time lapse seismic monitoring.  



The candidates are expected to have a Ph.D. degree in Chemical 
Engineering, Petroleum Engineering or related discipline. Previous 
experience in the area of process systems engineering, modeling multiphase 
flow in porous media and machine learning is desirable. Competitive salary
