A postdoctoral position is currently available in the Wisconsin Institute for Discovery at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. The position is funded by the U.S. Department of Energy under project "Multifaceted Mathematics for Rare, High-Impact Events in Complex Energy and Environment Systems." The successful candidate will join a strong research team with expertise at the intersection of computational optimization, data sciences, and energy systems and will closely interact with researchers at Argonne National Laboratory, Pacific Northwest National Laboratory, and the University of Chicago. 

Candidates should have a Ph.D. in engineering (any field) with emphasis in systems modeling and optimization/control.
