Faculty members: please forward this email to your graduate students
attending the AIChE Annual Meeting in Pittsburgh

**********

Hello CAST Division Graduate students!

The CAST Student Committee is organizing two networking events at the AIChE
Annual Meeting.

Event #1: MONDAY LUNCH
"Nine on Nine" ( http://www.nineonninepgh.com )

Limited to the first 30 students to sign up, this is a CAST-sponsored lunch
(free for CAST members). We will gather immediately following the CAST
Plenary session (~11AM, Room 323 of the David L. Lawrence Convention Center)
and walk to the restaurant (a few blocks).

To sign up for the lunch (advance registration required!), please go to the
Facebook page:

If you have any trouble, or questions about the signup process, please
contact Subin Hada ([log in to unmask]).

Event #2: WEDNESDAY EVENING OUT
"Elbow Room" ( http://www.elbowroompittsburgh.com )

A bit further afield from the Convention Center, located in Pittsburgh's
Shadyside neighborhood, this is a popular venue for Pittsburgh's younger
crowd, as well as the Engineering Graduate Students at CMU and Pitt. This
is a casual "come hang out" event, so drop in after Wednesday's technical
program wraps up. Get more details by speaking with the CAST Student
Committee local organizers, Tim Knab and Sumit Mitra. No signup required.

We look forward to welcoming you to Pittsburgh for the 2012 AIChE meeting!

Sincerely,
The 2012 CAST Student Committee
Subin Hada, Sumit Mitra, and Tim Knab
