Dear friends and colleagues,
dear optimization and control researchers in academia and industry,

I believe the course on the optimal control software tool CasADi
in the attached PDF could be of interest to members of your teams or to
some of
your colleagues - in particular in the embedded control systems industry.
CasADi 3.5 was recently released
and contains many new features that in particular enhance its capabilities
to generate
embeddable C-code of optimization and optimal control solvers from
high-level languages such as Python, Octave or MATLAB.

The course is given by Dr. Joris Gillis in Belgium, who is both,
an excellent programmer and an excellent teacher. For this reason
I strongly recommend participation in this course without any hesitation,
in particular
to researchers from industry with a background in science or engineering
and
an interest in computational optimization.
