Advanced Controls Manager
Required Skills:

* Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver technology in a project-based environment
Desired Skills:
* Understanding of R&D and the skills required to effectively provide controls and systems
technology into R, D & E
* Understanding of manufacturing and the skills required to introduce advanced technology
into manufacturing
* Strong problem solving skills and methodologies

Education:
Minimum of B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
Experience: 8 years relevant experience is required
Responsibilities:
* Provide vision, strategy, direction and support for a growing team of talented controls
scientist and engineers
* Design, develop and implement controls solutions for R&D and Manufacturing processes
* Work closely with experts in other disciplines or functions in project teams to develop control
strategies and/or integrate other control strategies
* Utilize and continually improve defined development processes, generate appropriate
reports and intellectual properties
Role within group:
This is a functional manager position, requiring people management and development skills. The position also requires upper management and customer interaction and relationship building skills.
Travel Requirements: 25%
