Dear colleagues,

We are seeking a Postdoctoral Research Associate to work in the Centre for
Process Systems Engineering (CPSE), Department of Chemical Engineering at
Imperial College London, starting on 1 April, 2015. The position aims to
develop novel membrane-based processes for the fractionation of crude oil
using organic solvent nanofiltration (OSN) and to implement systematic
optimization-based design methodologies towards the advancement of
isothermal refining. This EPSRC funded project is in cooperation with the
group of Prof Livingston at Imperial College London.

Candidates should have a PhD Degree (or equivalent) in Chemical Engineering,
Mechanical Engineering, or closely related areas, with expertise in Process
Systems Engineering and have a track record of projects involving
mathematical modeling and numerical/superstructure optimization. Experience
with membrane processes is a clear plus. Strong oral and written
communication skills are a requisite.

Our preferred method of application is online via our website. Please click
