ExxonMobil Research & Engineering - Corporate Strategic Research is
considering new research activity in the area of process control and
optimization. We are looking for graduate student interns for summer
2013. The work location is roughly 60 miles west of New York City in
Clinton, NJ. Eligible students will have completed at least two years of
study in pursuit of a Ph.D. in the general area of advanced process
control and optimization.
CSR’s mission is unique within the ExxonMobil Corporation. We are tasked
with creating science-based opportunity and competitive advantage for
ExxonMobil by conducting high-risk, high-reward research aligned with the
Corporation’s business objectives. Our engineers and scientists lead the
industry in creating business value through inspired innovation.
During this research-focused internship, the student will gain exposure to
the challenges involved in conducting leading-edge industrial research.
We are seeking outstanding candidates whose graduate research is related
to advanced process control or closely related fields. In addition to a
strong technical background and demonstrated high levels of academic
achievement, candidates should possess solid research capabilities, strong
initiative, and good communication skills.
