Dear Colleague,

You are cordially invited to participate in and support the forthcoming CAPE
Forum hosted by the Chair of Technical Thermodynamics at RWTH Aachen
University on March 11-12, 2010.

http://www.ltt.rwth-aachen.de/CAPE2010/

The topic of this CAPE Forum is: “PSE and family”

Conference themes are:

PSE and...

* Process Intensification: Rival brother or best buddies?
Keynote speaker: Prof. Kai Sundmacher (MPI and University Magdeburg)

* Thermodynamics: Our molecular sister or just a forgotten relative?
Keynote speaker: Prof. Rafiqul Gani (Technical University of Denmark)

* Energy: Temporary playmate or friends for life?
Keynote speaker: Assoc. Prof. Piero Colonna (Delft University of Technology)

and all CAPE-related research, of course.

The CAPE Forum is mainly focused on postgraduate students and postdoctoral
fellows, but all CAPE colleagues are welcome. This meeting is a forum
facilitating discussion of completed research projects, research projects in
progress, and research results. It is a yearly event, an informal meeting of
those academic and industrial participants interested and active in the area
of Computer Aided Process Engineering (CAPE), Process Systems Engineering
(PSE), Modelling, Simulation and Optimisation.

The 2010 event is dedicated to the exploration of the boundaries of the PSE
domain. The EFCE Working Party on Process Intensification therefore supports
the 2010 issue. Certainly, all CAPE - related research areas are also
welcomed. The program of this year Forum includes invited key-note
presentations from established scientists, set of oral and poster
presentations from registered participants and round-table discussions on
topics of current interest. As a result, it will be a forum where every
participant gets the chance to present and discuss topics of common interest.

The following websites summarize all important information

but, evidently, if you have additional questions, do not hesitate to contact
the conference secretariat
