Dear colleagues,

We are looking for multiple postdoc associates in the broader fields of AI for Science and Engineering (e.g., AI for sustainability, AI for materials, quantum AI, etc.) at Cornell University. These senior researcher positions are supported by a major philanthropic gift and will offer "market-competitive" salaries and benefits to successful candidates via these named postdoc fellowships. The candidate could start as early as October 2022. Candidates with suitable backgrounds and publication records are encouraged to apply. Interested candidates should send a cover letter and a detailed curriculum vitae to Prof. Fengqi You at ([log in to unmask]). Please include "AI Postdoc Position" in the email subject.

The field of AI has a strong history at Cornell University. Many early researchers conducting studies in the field were faculty or students at Cornell. Examples include Frank Rosenblatt (one of the pioneers of AI known for his foundational work on perceptrons and deep learning) and Gerard Salton (the father of information retrieval). Cornell has been at the forefront of work in AI for years. The collaborative and cooperative environment at Cornell ensures we continue to find novel approaches and applications for AI across all scientific and engineering domains.

Thanks much and have a great day,

Fengqi You, Ph.D.
Roxanne E. and Michael J. Zak Professor
