Dear Colleagues,
The organizers of PSE 2018 have secured funds from the US National Science Foundation to partially support the participation of about 30 young researchers (graduate students, post-doctoral fellows, and junior faculty).
Applications are due no later than May 25, 2018. The award winners will be notified by June 1, 2018.
Applications are encouraged from all junior researchers planning to attend the PSE 2018 conference, but due to the limited number of awards available, it is unlikely that multiple awards will be possible for a single group/laboratory. It should also be noted that these travel awards are only available for junior researchers at US institutions.
Application Procedure
Graduate students and post-doctoral fellows need to submit the following as a single PDF file to Professor Mario Eden, [log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]>):
1. A brief nomination/recommendation letter written by your supervisor
2. Current curriculum vitae
Junior faculty members need to submit a single PDF file to Professor Mario Eden, [log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]>) containing:
1. Cover letter
2. Current curriculum vitae
In either category, if you are presenting a paper/poster at the conference, the complete title of your contributed paper and paper ID number should be included in your application.
Best regards
Mario, Marianthi, and Gavin
