being a mentor this semester. Mentors are paired with AMSA members and
provide advice about classes, extracurriculars, clinical experiences, etc.

Looking for a service-leadership opportunity? Become an AMSA Service Squad
Leader!
SSL’s are responsible for leading a service group through volunteering and
reflection meetings. This semester, SSLs will guide service squads of AMSA
members through virtual or in-person volunteering opportunities with AMSA’s
community partners. SSLs will hold reflection meetings to develop a deeper
understanding of the community issues that they are addressing with their
work. SSL’s will also have the option to help develop a deliverable with
their service group to highlight what the members have learned about their
social issue along with what they have accomplished through their
service.This is a great opportunity to develop your leadership skills while
engaging in valuable service experiences! Please send any questions to
