The UMD Pre-Medical Society will be having its Fourth GBM for this semester
on Tuesday, March 31st at 6:30pm in JMZ0220! We are pleased to have First
Year Medical Student Nick Toney who attends University of Maryland School
of Medicine (UMDSOM) as our speaker, and he is a proud alumnus of UMD! Mr.
Toney took a gap year between high school and college and developed rich
experiences in abroad trips that helped him get into medical school. We
can learn greatly about the types of experiences Mr. Toney chose to pursue
and how they helped develop his character and made him stand out as a
medical school applicant. After his talk, Mr. Toney will answer any
questions that you might have about medical school and creating medical
school applications through the University of Maryland. Come out and learn
about the life of a current medical student! Hope to see you there!
