Description:
The Maryland Center for Health Equity (M-CHE) is looking for passionate
students to volunteer at the 2019 Mid-Maryland Mission of Mercy (MOM) &
Health Equity Festival this year! This free adult dental care clinic and
health equity festival offer free emergency dental care to the service of
thousands of under-insured and underserved individuals. This is a great event
to give back to the community and learn more about the various fields of
healthcare and dentistry! The event will be held September 13 and September
14 at the UMD Xfinity Center. If you would like more information about the

Registration
Here is the link for general volunteers to sign up! Volunteers work in
shifts that are adjusted to their schedule, which can be set within the
volunteer registration. There are many volunteer positions including patient
registration and patient escorts. We are also looking for volunteers to help
with event set up and breakdown on September 12th and September 14th, if you

Additionally, we are asking volunteers to reach out to their personal dentist
and dental health providers to see if they are interested in serving the
needs of the underserved.
