Subject: Full time job - EPA Biochemistry Associate

Description:
The EPA Environmental Research and Business Support Program is hiring a
Biochemistry Associate at the EPA Research Triangle Park facility in Raleigh
Durham, NC. The Biochemistry Associate will assist in method development by
supporting chemistry laboratory operations and performing sample tracking,
preparation, extraction, analysis, and reporting. The job is expected to
begin May 2016.

·         Full time, $27.31/hour
·         Must have earned a Master’s degree in bioinformatics, biology,
chemistry, computational biology, computer science, information science,
math, physics, statistics, or related field
·         Must have education/experience in a programming or scripting
language and a working knowledge of web application development and
relational databases
·         Will perform tasks such as recordkeeping, extracting samples,
preparing solutions and standards, tracking and managing samples, and
reviewing, processing, and reporting data
