Description:
The National Ground Intelligence Center is holding a career fair for students
majoring in the following fields: engineering, physics, mathematics,
geospatial science, data science, information technology, economics, finance,
security studies, history, political science, language, social science,
military science, international affairs/relations and foreign area studies.
The fair will be held from 10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. and feature over 30
full-time and internship positions available. NGIC employs highly skilled
cultural and regional analysts, modelers, simulation experts, and other
technical specialists. NGIC seeks individuals who are innate puzzle solvers
and possess analytical skills for careers as intelligence analysts, who are
typically assigned to a geographic region or functional specialty.
The NGIC is the primary producer of ground forces intelligence for the
Department of Defense. NGIC produces scientific and technical intelligence
and military capabilities analysis on foreign ground forces required by
warfighting commanders, research and development communities, Department of
Defense, and national policymakers. NGIC is a member of the Intelligence
Community, and represents the Army on matters of national security.
