Subject: Kappa Omega Alpha Fall Rush
Description:
My name is Anita Tharmarajah, and I am the President of Kappa Omega Alpha,
the premier public policy professional fraternity here at UMD. I’m reaching
out because our rush for the fall semester begins this week, and we’d like
to invite you to consider joining our organization.
KOA is open to students of all majors, whether they are public policy,
government and politics or something completely different. We believe that
all majors overlap in public policy in some way or another, so if you’re
interested in learning more and getting involved with public policy, we’d
love to have you rush KOA.
Here is our rush schedule for this upcoming weeks
Info session #1: 9/26 @12pm in ASY3211
Info session #2: 9/30 @6pm in ASY3203
Game night: 10/1 @ 6pm in ASY3211
Tie Dye Event: 10/2 @2pm in TBD
Service event: 10/6 @5pm in ASY3207
Speed Dating 10/7 @8pm in JMZ0220
The rush requirements for this semester will be to attend 1 rush session and
3 events. If you have any questions or concerns about meeting this
