Interested in equitable development and social justice? The Student
Association for India's Development (SAID) is excited to welcome Dr Sandeep
Pandey to campus TOMORROW 11/10 for what is sure to be an enlightening and
inspiring evening. A renowned social activist, Dr Pandey has dedicated his
life to helping marginalized populations throughout India in their struggle
for basic human rights and civil liberties. Dr Pandey leads the National
Alliance for People's Movements (NAPM), the largest network of grassroots
people's movements in India. He is also the founder of Asha for
Education--a formidable transnational nonprofit organization that promotes
universal access to quality education in India--and has served as an
advisor to the Indian government's Central Advisory Board for Education.
Join us TOMORROW at 5:30 pm in the Benjamin Banneker Rm in Stamp, as Dr
Pandey shares his wealth of experience in combatting inequity at all levels
of society.
