Subject: AOAC Science Program Summer Intern

AOAC INTERNATIONAL advances food safety, food integrity, and public health,
by bringing together
members, organizations, and experts dedicated to developing and validating
standards, methods and
technologies, of global relevance. AOAC INTERNATIONAL is a 501(c)(3),
independent, third party, not-
for-profit association and voluntary consensus standards developing
organization.
The AOAC Intern Position – AOAC Science Program is a seasonal, temporary

positions. Therefore, an
AOAC internship will provide interns real experience in the art of: seeking
grant and award
opportunities; drafting grant and award applications; and working with other
scientists.
It is envisioned that the AOAC Science Program intern reports to the Deputy
Executive Director and
Chief Science Officer or his/her designee. It is envisioned that the AOAC
Science Program intern will
work remotely, and report to their supervisor on a weekly basis at a minimum,
after an initial
orientation.
