Subject: NYC Department of Health Hiring Microbiologist

Description: As the Public Health Lab continues to respond to the COVID-19
pandemic, we are recruiting permanent and temporary Associate Laboratory
Microbiologists/Clinical Laboratory Technologists to perform COVID-19
testing. Technologists are needed to staff the newly opened COVID Express
Quickie Labs, which provide same-day molecular diagnostic testing for
COVID-19 in Health Department clinic sites throughout NYC. Associate
Laboratory Microbiologists perform clinical laboratory testing. Duties
include, but are not limited to, testing, routine laboratory administrative
operations, verifying results in the laboratory information system, and
participating in quality control, quality assurance, and laboratory biosafety
programs.
