*At this time, the CLS program intends for in-person instruction in the host
countries. If the Department of State determines later that this will not be
possible due to COVID-19, CLS will offer virtual instruction at full
capacity.

Application Deadline: November 16, 2021

ELIGIBILITY INFORMATION: Applicants must be US Citizens; currently enrolled
freshmen, sophomores, juniors, seniors, or graduate students. A GPA of 3.2 or
higher recommended; all majors are eligible.

PLEASE NOTE: CLS programs in Chinese and Japanese require two years of
previous study by the start of the program. Arabic, Korean, Portuguese, and
Russian require one year of study by the start of the program. For details
