Description: Dr. Rothblatt will discuss her career. Starting with an early

student at the University of Maryland. She then left UMD to work with NASA on
tracking and data relay satellites and to protect radio astronomy quiet
bands, after which she started several satellite communications companies
including Sirius Satellite Radio. She then entered the life sciences field,
founding United Therapeutics and obtaining a Ph.D. in medical ethics. Dr.
