Subject: Baltimore City Teaching Residency

Description:
Baltimore City Teaching Residency provides an accelerated pathway into
teaching for accomplished professionals and recent college graduates who
aren’t yet certified as educators, but who possess the dedication and
content knowledge to teach in some of Baltimore’s highest-need schools.
Great teachers have a huge and lasting impact on students’ lives, and
students grappling with the challenges of poverty need great teachers most.

We are currently seeking outstanding candidates to teach critical-need
subjects, including science, math, and special education, among others.
Teachers in these subject areas are in high demand, which leads to great job
opportunities for those who are passionate about teaching. In fact, for the
past three years, 100% of our Residents who successfully completed the summer
training were hired by the start of the school year or shortly thereafter.

Baltimore City Teaching Residency’s training program includes:
· Pre-service training (6 week program in Summer 2014)
· TNTP Academy (1 year certification program, while you work as a
fulltime teacher in the classroom)

We seek outstanding candidates with the dedication to become outstanding
teachers – apply online here

to join the ranks of this elite group of educators. Applications are
reviewed on a rolling basis until program is filled – so apply early!
