Assistant

Description:
The Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) is searching for
an experienced Research Specialist for a Temporary Contract project. This
project is managed by the Senior Director, Research.

The research specialist will contribute to two primary projects: CASE’s
Minority Serving Institution Initiative (MSI Initiative) examining
advancement capacity at MSIs and identifying potential models of best
practice, and a research collaboration conducted with U.S. Trust examining
principal (mega) gifts to U.S. colleges and universities.


The core functions of this position include but are not limited to the
following:
Clean and analyze data from a survey and assessment of MSI advancement
programs.
Help to assemble a database combining IPEDS and other public data on MSIs
along with data from CASE surveys/assessments.
Analyze findings from CASE surveys on principal gifts
Conduct follow up calls with survey participants as needed to clarify and
supplement survey data
Summarize findings from interviews and other qualitative research conducted
by CASE senior fellows/consultants.
