You may have heard of human trafficking, which is the exploitation of human
beings in the sex and labor industries. But did you know that it is not just
a problem in far away places, but in the United States as well? There are
thousands of men, women and children forced into sex and labor each year in
our very own country.

Come to UMD Students Ending Slavery’s FREE screening of Very Young Girls,
a documentary filmed in New York City that chronicles the struggles of
teenaged girls trying to escape the underground sex industry and have a
chance at a real life. After the film, there will be a discussion and
reflection about the film.

FREE snacks and refreshments will be provided.
Wednesday, February 23rd @ 7:15PM in Art-Sociology Building 2309
