UMD Pre-Med Society will be hosting a GBM in which Dr. Taksey, a hematologist/oncologist, will be our guest speaker. He is a UMD alumnus and a graduate of Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine. He is currently part of the Genitourinary Oncology Clinic at Johns Hopkins Hospital. If you're interested in learning about what it's like to be a hematologist/oncologist or you'd like to hear from a UMD alumnus’ perspective on pursuing a medical career, then make sure to attend tonight!
