Subject: Two Pride Alliance Events

Want to discover the Pride Alliance? We are hosting two events in the next
two weeks:

Wednesday, 25 October: 5 - 7 PM in 1215 Jiménez, General Body Meeting. Want
to discover the Pride Alliance? Once per month, the Pride Alliance, a queer
student organization at University of Maryland, invites the community at
large to a general body meeting. For our second general body meeting, Pride
Alliance in collaboration with Plumas and the Counseling Center will discuss
allyship for the undocumented and the queer communities.

Sunday, 29 October: 6 - 9 PM in the PG Room in Stamp, Nightmare on Queer
Street. The Pride Alliance is hosting a Halloween costume party during
Homecoming Week! Come out dressed as your favorite TV or comic character, a
spooky scary skeleton, or even as someone that inspires you. Costumes are
recommended, but optional. We'll begin by eating good food, dancing, and
taking pics at the photobooth. In the middle of Nightmare on Queer Street,
we'll watch a performance by Pretty Boi Drag. Finally is a costume contest
with prizes for first, second, and third place!
