AFCEA Educational Foundation is offing a scholarship for STEM Majors and Education Majors who plan on teaching or who are currently teaching! The deadline is approaching!!
Please help us get the word out to your students about our expanded scholarship program to encourage the teaching of science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) subjects in American middle or secondary schools. We were excited to be able to award 50 scholarships last year and want to reach just as many deserving future STEM teachers this year!
In addition to the $5,000 scholarship, each graduating AFCEA STEM Scholar will receive a $1,000 AFCEA STEM Teaching Tool grant each year for three years, provided they remain teaching a STEM subject. These grants can be used to fund hardware and software, classroom tools, field trips, STEM-focused clubs and other activities.
