Subject: Cybersecurity Talent Initiative Information Session and Networking

Description:
The Partnership for Public Service is looking for motivated and
mission-driven aspiring cybersecurity leaders to join the Cybersecurity
Talent Initiative in the summer of 2020. This information session will serve
as a chance for students to learn more about this program and connect with
representatives from the Partnership for Public Service, corporate sponsors,
and participating federal agencies. There will be a chance to speak with
representatives after the main presentation on the program

The Cybersecurity Talent Initiative is the first-of-its-kind public-private
partnership aimed at recruiting and training a world-class cybersecurity
workforce. The fellowship entails a two-year placement within a
federal agency during which participants will receive mentorship,
professional development and leadership training from public and private
cybersecurity leaders, while making a meaningful impact on the country’s
digital security. Before the end of their federal service, participants will
be invited to apply for in-demand positions with the program’s corporate
partners. Participants hired by these companies will also receive up to
$75,000 in student loan assistance. Potential applicants must be graduating
in spring 2020 with a cyber-security related degree. Please see the attached
one-pager with additional information.
