Fantastic Career Opportunity for Your Students: Deadline Extended!

Hello all,

Thank you to all of those who have already passed on information about DC Teaching Fellows to the students on your campus!

As you may know, DC Teaching Fellows is a highly selective alternative certification program that trains accomplished professionals and recent college graduates to become high-impact teachers in schools serving high-need students throughout the D.C. area. Fellows will begin making a difference for students right away, joining a network of dynamic D.C. teachers working to end a legacy of educational inequality.

We have recently extended our application deadline to April 2nd, and I am hoping you can help us recruit your most accomplished students to join the DC Teaching Fellows program. Please forward this email to students and/or refer students and colleagues to www.dcteachingfellows.org <http://www.dcteachingfellows.org> in order to learn more and apply. We encourage candidates to apply soon, as we invite outstanding candidates to interview – and to join the program – on a rolling basis. The subject areas for which we are currently recruiting are elementary education, elementary and secondary special education, and mathematics. (Eligibility information for these subject areas can be found here on our website.) <http://dcteachingfellows.ttrack.org/HowToApply/Eligibility.aspx>

Your students’ content knowledge and expertise is needed in high-need classrooms throughout D.C. to positively impact student achievement. Once again, please share this message with them and refer them to www.dcteachingfellows.org <http://www.dcteachingfellows.org> to apply to join this highly-selective program.

Thank you so much, and please feel free to reach out to me if you need any more information!

Best,

Lora Pacht
