University of Maryland Professor of Biology and former Associate Dean of Undergraduate Studies, Dr. James Dietz, is now working full-time to save the Golden Lion Tamarin from extinction in the tropical rain forests of Brazil. He returns to campus to update us on his recent progress!
 
This talk is a must-attend for all who are interested in conservation biology, primate biology, biological anthropology, and animal behavior. There are many transferrable political and social lessons learned from this successful conservation effort in Brazil.
