Subject: 2016 Public Health Associate Program will accept applications via
USAjobs on January 4

Description:
The Public Health Associate Program (PHAP) is a 2-year entry-level, full-time
employment and career development training program designed to prepare recent
graduates through hands-on, frontline experience in the day-to-day operations
of public health programs. You must be a recent graduate (GPA 3.0 required)
with a bachelor’s or master’s degree beginning a career in public health.
Upon successful completion of the program, PHAP associates are qualified to
compete for entry-level career positions at CDC and other public health
organizations.

Who Can Apply:
•Recent graduates (last 2 years or expected degree by July 1, 2016) with a
minimum of a bachelor’s degree
•Must have a 3.0 GPA (transcripts required)
•Must be willing to relocate, if necessary, within the 50 United States and
its territories

How to Apply:
•Applications will be accepted January 4 -8, 2016 via USAJobs
•HR will evaluate applications to ensure minimum qualifications are met
•Eligible list of candidates provided to hiring manager(s)
•Veterans’ preference does apply
