Subject: Speaker Event: How COVID-19 Has Impacted the Opioid Epidemic

Description: There has been a massive spike in opioid overdose deaths during
the pandemic, over doubling in some Maryland counties. Where is this spike
coming from, and how can we curb it? Join Dr. Woody Kessel, retired assistant
surgeon general, and Erin Artigiani, deputy director of the Center for
Substance Abuse Research, for a speaker panel on the two epidemics at large
and what is being done to curb it.
