Subject: Paid Positions Available at The Honey Bee Lab

Description: We have a great opportunity to work in a fun and growing lab.
If you are willing and excited to learn more about honey bees and their
importance as pollinators to our ecosystem, this position may be for you. Dr.
Dennis vanEngelsdorp, Project Director of The Bee Informed Partnership, and
University of Maryland (UMD) Assistant Professor in the Department of
Entomology is looking to hire part-time hourly lab assistants responsible for
assisting in processing and analyzing honey bee samples. Other duties may
include data entry, report generation, sample kit construction and other lab
tasks. Employee will be contracted through UMD and on location at the Plant
Sciences Building at UMD. Positions to assist graduate students with
experiments are also available.
