Elections for officer positions for the American Society for
Microbiology (ASM at UMD) will take place Thursday, April 26, 2012 at
6pm in the Nanticoke Room in the Stamp Student Union. Available
positions for the 2012-2013 school year include president, vice
president, treasurer, secretary, SGA Liaison, historian, publicity and
promotions chair, faculty outreach chair, fundraising chair, event
chair, etc. Anyone interested in running should submit an email to
[log in to unmask] with their name, prospective position, a
picture of themselves, and their class year by 12PM on Wednesday,
April 25. Be prepared to give a very brief speech (no more than 90
seconds) at elections on April 26th.
