Please join the University of Maryland chapter of Universities Allied for
Essential Medicines on July 16th at 5:30 pm EST for our speaker panel and Q&A
session entitled “ A Racist Healthcare System: What are you going to do
about it?” This 90-minute live webinar will include a structured dialogue
with experts in the fields of healthcare and health equity surrounding their
thoughts on racism in healthcare and actionable steps that must be taken to
achieve equity. We hope you engage in and leave this webinar with concrete
steps that you can take to combat the racism present in healthcare.
Opportunities for interaction and Q&A will be integrated throughout the
session in addition to a dedicated Q&A session at the end. We hope to see you
